Ever read the Orwell book 1984? Well, it's about time. Try to read it in the way it was percieved in 1948. Oceania at war with Eurasia, and in alliance with Eastasia? Well, this won't be too far from the truth shortly. Don't agree? Well yes, we do have the 'right' to shutdown our TV-screen or our computer, but do we really want to? Even as easy hacking has become nowadays? Nah, we need the SOMA. Striving for easier living the last century has made our lives so boring that someone's got to tell us what to do, want and think. It won't be long before the whole world adopts the 'mark of the beast (Rev. 13:16-18)' as China so cleverly introduced as a means to indicate that you're a 'rightful' citizen in case of wanted terrorists or something) and the US is trying to introduce as an easier way to find your kids, or prove that you have medical insurance.
Our hard-gained freedom has given us so many restrictions in the name of security, that the little 'animal farm' we call society is looking more and more like a playstation-game.

First, as a sign of good will towards the Arab world, I think that it would not be a bad idea if either or both the United States and the United Nations would reject the Israeli state and give the whole(!) country back to the Palestinians. The Israeli govt. has proven since 1967 not to be willing to govern a country in an honest and respectful way. Let them live as settlers, as they are.
It is also time for the world not to wait for the US to give their Emperial thumbs down, but to act. Israel has broken more UN resolutions than probably Iraq. There's a war goin' on and we're just sitting here, watching the soap. It's time to intervine, get out of your chairs, pick up your phone, your pen or your laptop, ACTION!!
